Hi, I’m Holly Browning, the artist behind Sonnier Fine Art. Born and raised just outside of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, I’ve loved art from a young age—painting and creating have always been a big part of my life. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Southeastern Louisiana University, then spent about ten years working as a graphic designer. But no matter how much I loved design, painting has always been my true calling.

In the past year, I’ve had the joy of painting live at more than 50 weddings and events, capturing thousands of people’s unique stories and personalities. My mission is simple: to honor the uniqueness of every individual by capturing their presence in the moment through live portraiture—offering not just a drawing, but a lasting connection, a celebration of identity, and a keepsake of shared experience. I love turning fleeting moments into timeless art, and making sure each portrait feels as alive and special as the person in front of my brush.

When I’m not painting, you might catch me plotting a spontaneous getaway, hunting down the best hidden coffee spots, or embracing the beautiful chaos of mom life.
